Everything you need to know about the Maurya Group Lease Portal

For Tenants
Your landlord will send you a unique access code (e.g. MG-4821). Open the portal, tap Tenant Sign at the top, enter your code, and follow the step-by-step signing flow. The entire process takes about 5–10 minutes.
Your landlord will share the code via WhatsApp, phone call, or in person. If you have not received a code, please contact your landlord directly. Codes are case-insensitive.
Yes — the portal is designed mobile-first and works on any smartphone or tablet. Open maurya-leases.netlify.app in your browser. No app download needed.
The security deposit is typically 2 months' rent. The exact amount is set in your individual lease agreement. You can see it clearly on the Rent & Deposit step during signing. The deposit is refundable at the end of your lease subject to the condition of the property.
The standard lease is 11 months. After 11 months, the lease automatically continues month-to-month unless either party gives 30 days written notice to terminate or renew on new terms.
Rent can be paid via:
  • UPI / PhonePe / Google Pay / Paytm
  • NEFT / Bank Transfer
  • Cash (with receipt)
Rent is due on the 1st of each month. A grace period and late fee terms are specified in your lease agreement.
Yes. After signing, use the Print button (🖨) in the top bar to print or save your lease as a PDF. A copy is also accessible any time by entering your access code in the Tenant Sign tab.
Double-check the code — it is usually 4–6 characters (letters and numbers). Make sure you are on the Tenant Sign tab (not Admin). If it still does not work, contact your landlord — the lease may not have been created yet or the portal may be in offline mode.
For Landlords / Admin
Open the portal and make sure you are on the Admin tab. Click + Create New Lease Agreement and fill in the 6-step form: lease term, rent, property details, tenant info, house rules, and review. Once saved, a unique tenant access code is generated automatically.
No. Firebase is optional. Without it, the portal works in Offline Mode — all data is stored on the device you use. Firebase is recommended if you want the tenant to sign from a different device (e.g., they are in another city). Setup takes about 5 minutes and is free.
  1. Go to console.firebase.google.com → Create a project
  2. Enable Firestore Database → Start in test mode
  3. Project Settings → Your apps → Web icon → Register → copy the config
  4. In the portal's Setup screen, paste the config values and click Save & Connect
Once connected, the status dot in the top bar will turn green.
After creating the lease, the Admin dashboard shows the access code for each tenant. Share the code and the portal link (maurya-leases.netlify.app) via WhatsApp or SMS. The tenant enters the code in the Tenant Sign tab to access and sign their lease.
Yes. The Admin dashboard lists all lease agreements. Each lease has its own property address, unit number, tenant details, and access code. There is no limit on the number of leases you can create.
In offline mode, all data stays on your own device and is never sent anywhere. In Firebase mode, data is stored in your own private Firebase project under your Google account — Maurya Group does not have access to it. Firebase encrypts data in transit and at rest.
