Room changes use the transfer workflow so assignment history and both rooms’ occupancy stay correct. Direct room edits are off.
Rent & Status
The lease is operational immediately. Its start date still controls when rent, electricity, and occupancy responsibility begin. Signatures are optional paperwork evidence.
This creates the tenant’s real, operationally active lease. Signatures and printing are optional paperwork actions on this same lease—they never block rent, electricity, occupancy, or portal access.

👥 Add Existing Co-tenant
One room, one lease, multiple tenants. Choose the lease they are joining, then find an existing tenant account. No new lease or room assignment will be created.
No co-tenant selected yet.
Monthly rent responsibility
These amounts record each tenant’s monthly responsibility from the effective month. Payments and receipts still post to the one shared lease, so this does not invent separate historical paid/unpaid balances.
👥 Manage Shared Tenants
Review membership, total rent, and every share together. Changes start only on the first day of a month. Ending a co-tenant keeps their history and ends responsibility on the prior day.
Choose the first day of a month.
Only explicitly linked co-tenants appear here. Authorized family occupants cannot be removed from this workflow.

🚪 Rent Another Room
Same tenant account, separate room lease. Their current rooms stay unchanged. Choose the person or company, then select the new room, dates, and rent.
